VISION AND EYE EXERCISES TO MEET YOUR VISUAL NEEDS
Vision therapy, also known as neuro-optometric rehabilitation, is an individualized treatment program for patients experiencing visual symptoms. Our optometrist will work with you to develop a plan to address your needs, through a series of visual exercises using specialized lenses, prisms, patches, filters, and various tools. The main goal of vision therapy is to develop and enhance your visual function, so you can reach your highest potential.
Patients that may benefit from vision therapy
- Children with learning difficulties
- Post-brain injury, concussion, stroke
20/20 VISION IS NOT ENOUGH
Are you able to read all letters on a visual acuity chart and have been told you do not need glasses, yet feel like your vision is off? Most regular eye exams evaluate sight and ocular health, but do not assess important visual skills required for sports, extensive computer use, reading, and executing daily function. A functional vision exam is needed to identify possible ocular motor dysfunction, visual spatial dysfunction, visual perceptual and cognitive deficits.
